Daniel was first on the podcast back in episode 178 which aired on 9th February 2021 (if you didn’t tune in or want to know more about The DirtFund Project, CLICK HERE to listen) and it really doesn’t seem that long. Daniel and The DirtFund Project have been up to loads over that time, giving away gear, funding new riders and hopefully making the whole racing experience that little easier. But, their new collaboration with Vitus Bikes has to be their biggest move so far.

Alex from Vitus started following The DirtFund Project on socials and knew from the start that this was an awesome cause, something that fitted into Vitus’s values and direction as a brand and something he wanted Vitus to get involved with. The conversation was struck, the two guys gelled, plans were put in place and The DirtFund Vitus Privateer Programme was born.

Of course there was a little more than that that went into it, but chatting with Daniel and Alex you wouldn’t really think so. It was more of Ok, we have a bike brand that wants to help young guys and girls race and follow their dreams, The DirtFund Project has helped lots of young riders do this…so why doesn’t  Vitus give you a couple of bikes to help these riders race the season on a brand new 2022 Vitus model of their choice. Simple (if only all business was conducted in such a cool way).

And to be honest, that’s how the collaboration was formed. Daniel then reached out and got support from Muc-Off and Ben at the Strength Factory. The guys were more than happy to help out and the competition was ready. So that’s the shortened version, you will have to tune in to hear the full story.

So get yourself over to The DirtFund website (details below), get entered, tell your friends, tell your friends to tell their friends and you never know, you could be racing on a brand new 2022 Vitus this season. Why wouldn’t you at least give it a go! Good luck!

So put your feet up for an hour and listen in as we chat with Alex Marchant about the Vitus family, the new 2022 bike range, new product still to come and of course why Glyn O’Brien is still the fastest man out there! We also find out what Daniel has been up to with The DirtFund guys, their future plans and of course how you can win a new Vitus bike and much more.
